Design Build
Under the Phoenix design/build contract, the project can be fast-tracked. As soon as planning permission is received, construction can begin immediately, saving time and money. Because the builder is involved from the beginning, the time-consuming bidding process is eliminated, allowing an early project start.
Additionally, since the builder and the architect have the same understanding of the project, time is not wasted in site meetings to resolve details. Once completed, construction does not have to be re-done as it was done properly the first time around. The fast track chart shows this at a glance.
