Construction Management

Phoenix Construction is skilled at providing Construction Management as Constructor (CMC) services, also called Construction Manager "at risk" (CM/GC).

 The CMC delivery system allows us to work with the owner and the design team from the earliest stages of a project. At the outset we can help analyze the facilities program from a construction perspective, define the scope of work to meet the owner's needs and budget constraints, and establish realistic schedule and performance milestones. As the project moves into the construction phase under the CMC approach, Phoenix, along with the owner, establishes an appropriate point in time when the construction risk is transferred to us as the general contractor. This, of course, is our base business and the owner is further served because the associated risks of general contracting are familiar to Phoenix.

Phoenix Construction was founded as a general contracting firm and has an outstanding team of project executives, project managers, and field supervisory staff ready and committed to delivering a new or renovated building on time, within budget and in accordance with the Owner's requirements. Many of our staff have decades of construction experience and several have spent their entire careers with Phoenix Construction. Our success as a general contractor has been aided through our strong relationships with the local subcontracting community.

Whether a large project or a small one, Phoenix follows a meticulous methodology that provides its clients with a step-by-step process outlining each of the many tasks critical to the successful completion of the project. Pre-construction

Our experience has taught us that getting involved early is the key. By doing so, we are better able to understand the project as it relates to owners' needs and expectations. Over half of the jobs that we build at Phoenix Construction are done using this method, and the results speak for themselves. The pre-construction process involves determining the best delivery method, accurate conceptual and detailed cost estimating, site evaluation, scheduling and selection of the best building systems for a particular project. Customized recommendations are offered to accommodate evolving issues resulting from a constantly changing market. Design Build

Under the Phoenix design/build contract, the project can be fast-tracked. As soon as planning permission is received, construction can begin immediately, saving time and money. Because the builder is involved from the beginning, the time-consuming bidding process is eliminated, allowing an early project start.
